The Kockpit Safe is designed to improve pilot safety.
Every year, a number of pilots die because they forget to fasten their thigh straps. After analyzing the accidents, it turns out that this is often due to the presence of an instrument holder masking the view of the straps, leading the pilot to believe that he is strapped in. Today, there are various “anti-forgetting” systems integrated into harnesses, but they do not take into account the presence of a ventral container.
The Kockpit Safe is the first instrument carrier to incorporate this technology, previously reserved for harnesses, as its unique attachment system allows leg straps to be connected to the 2 main links. From the moment the Kockpit Safe is attached, the pilot can no longer fall out of his harness.
